This Jameson features a higher proportion of pot still whiskey, aged in a notable amount of first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a more concentrated character than the regular Jameson, with a strong sherried note that adds depth and complexity. The double-charring of the bourbon barrels brings forward aromas of butterscotch, toffee, and creamy fudge on the palate, with a pleasing vanilla sweetness, warm spice, and nutty undertones.
