Akashi Blended Sherry Cask Finish
This Japanese whisky shows a velvety and balanced texture, with notes of raisin, plums, milk chocolate, and a hint of vanilla bean. Crafted by Mikio Hiraishi, owner and master blender of Eigashima distillery – previously known as White Oak – this release comprises a blend of grain and malt whiskies. It was aged for at least three years in American oak casks and finished for six months in sherry casks.
